FAQs - Preservation Conference
Yes, LI members receive a discount of $10 off the two-day registration. Membership will be checked upon receipt of registration. If you are not a current member, please click here to join or renew.
IAHPC is offering FREE 2014 membership with full two-day conference registration.
  1. Select a Registration Option.
  2. Check Yes or No for ALL the events listed on your selected Registration page.
  3. Enter the registrant’s name in the field provided.
  4. Click “Add to Basket” button. This page reloads.
  5. Do not click Add to Basket again.
  6. Go to Checkout to complete the transaction.
  7. To change your purchase before payment, go to Basket Contents.Remove your purchase from the Basket and start over.

It is IMPORTANT that when using the Online Store for "multiple conference registrations" that each individual registrant's name, meal and event preferences be entered. This is accomplished by:

  1. Select a Registration Option for the first attendee.
  2. Check Yes or No for ALL the events listed on your selected Registration page.
  3. Enter the registrant’s name in the field provided.
  4. Click “Add to Basket” button only once.
  5. Using the Conference button at the bottom of the page, return to the Registration Option page.
  6. Select a Registration Option for the next attendee and follow steps 2-5 until all attendees are registered.
  7. Go to Checkout to complete the transaction. transaction.
  8. You may check your “Basket” at anytime, it will reflect contents for purchase.
  9. DO NOT USE the "change quantity" option on store pages to add multiple registrants. This function will not provide us with accurate registration information.

Yes, if attending paid or free events including the CAMP mentoring program. You have two options: (1) Use the “Speaker/Moderator” link on the Registration page, if attending paid AND free events. (2) Use the Registration Form (pdf) on the Registration page, if only attending free events. This seldom happens, however when it does we have found the following to be possible reasons. The web server for our Online Store generated an error during the checkout process due to a server timeout or the email address that was typed into the customer information field during checkout was incorrect. Landmarks Illinois gladly accepts orders, memberships, and special event registration by phone at 312-922-1742. Also, please check our main website for registration and membership forms in PDF format that can be mailed or faxed to us. The secure server software used by Landmarks Online Store E-Commerce website encrypts all your personal information, including credit card details, name and address. However, please do not "email your order" with credit card information to Landmarks Illinois, as we cannot guarantee the privacy or security of information transmitted via unsecured or unencrypted email.

  1. Click on Annual Fund, Events, Louis Sullivan Society, Membership, or Professional Membership from the top navigation bar on our Online Store.
  2. To add an item to your order, enter the quantity you wish to purchase into the "Quantity" box shown on the product detail page and then click the "Add to Cart" button.
  3. Please note that for Preservation Conference Registration and other events there are exceptions to using the "Quantity" box. Instructions for these events will be noted on their respective Online Store pages.
  4. You can check your "Cart" at any time by clicking on "My Cart" link on the top of the page.
  5. When you are ready to checkout click the "Proceed to Checkout" button on the product page or the "Checkout" link at the top of the page. This will begin your checkout.
  6. Our Checkout page opens.
  7. Complete the "Billing Information" section on the page and then click the "Continue With Order" button.
  8. Complete the "Additional Information" section if required.
  9. Edit the "Shipping Address/Method" section if required
  10. Enter your credit card information in the "Payment Section" and the click the "Place Order".
  11. Please note that you may change your order or stop the process at any time. Your order is not placed until you click on the "Place Order" button at the bottom of the secure order form that requests your credit card number.
  12. After placing your order, a Confirmation page will show a summary of your transaction.
  13. Please print the Confirmation page for your records using your browsers print button.
  14. An email version of this order summary will be sent promptly..

Yes. Once you have placed an item in your Online Store Cart it will remain there until you proceed to process your transaction or leave the Landmarks Illinois website. You can access your Cart at any time, from any part of the Online Store website, by clicking the "My Cart" link located on the top of the page. The Cart page will display and there you can amend the quantity or alternatively remove an item altogether by clicking the "Remove" button.
Our goal is to process and ship your order as soon as possible. And once an order begins the process, we might not be able to modify it. We apologize for any inconvenience, and we hope that our fast processing time works to your advantage. But, if you contact us right away by telephone, we may be able to stop shipment on your order and refund your credit card.

Sales tax is not assessed for Event Registration, Tickets, Membership or Contributions. Illinois sale tax is charged for merchandise sold to Illinois residents.
